How It Works
Read Across Canada – home reading log program

Students record the number of minutes they’ve read at home or in their classroom on a daily basis by signing into their Mind Growth Education account. The online reading program automatically converts your minutes into kilometres and advances you on your adventure across. You also can earn printable badges as you advance on your reading adventure!

What are people saying about our reading log program?

Read some of the reviews below!

Thanks to a little online visual journey… my daughter has read 842 minutes in one month! That’s HUGE for someone that was struggling to enjoy reading! – Jen D., Parent

Great way to keep our kids focused on reading! – Thore T., Parent

It’s fun to journey across Canada with your young ones while encouraging them to read. Great product for developing readers! – Kristina C., Parent

I have been a French Immersion teacher for over 20 years. As a classroom teacher, I have been searching for an interactive way to motivate both parents and teachers to read at home every night. It has been such a struggle. When Mind Growth Education was developed, I was very hopeful that maybe the students and parents would buy in. Straight away, they were thrilled. Parents loved how user friendly the site is. The kids loved how they could travel across Canada and learn cool facts along the way. And all they have to do is practice their home reading! As a teacher, I love how I can check on my students progress and speed them up or slow them down. It is such a great way to support all the needs in our classes. If you are looking for a low maintenance but HIGHLY effective way to track your child or your students reading, this is the site for you!! – Deirdre J., Grade 1/2 French Immersion Teacher
