Our Keynote Speaker

Ally MacLachlan, Director of Program Development at The Adam’s Apples Foundation

Ally is the Director of Program Development at The Adam’s Apples Foundation: a non-profit organization motivated to improve the mental health literacy and overall wellbeing of today’s youth. Ally has worked in the non-profit sector for many years, beginning shortly after she lost her brother, Adam, to an accidental drug overdose. Since her brother’s passing, she has been an advocate for improved accessibility to mental health education for youth, participating in countless public speaking initiatives, and successfully developing and implementing Social-Emotional Learning programs for youth in both elementary and high school populations. Since graduating from The University of British Columbia in 2021, she has taken on a full-time role in the foundation’s curriculum development and teacher training program.
